High Speed Broadband
INTRODUCES 4G MOBILE HOTSPOT
Immediately Available Throughout Michigan’s Thumb
Frankenmuth, MI – SpeedConnect,
a premium local wireless broadband provider, whose technology
supports higher usage demands, announced today the launch of
its new 4G Mobile Hotspot service offering.
The freestanding Mobile
Hotspot connects to the Internet via SpeedConnect’s
4G secure-licensed network throughout the Thumb of Michigan.
The Mobile Hotspot generates a Wi-Fi signal allowing up five
devices,
such as iPads, laptops, tablets and Droids, to connect. Bruce
Moore, SpeedConnect’s Vice President and General Manager
said, “Our
4G Mobile Hotspot delivers up to a 10Mbps connection, making
it far superior to our competitors’ aircard type services.
This is the perfect mobile Internet solution,” Moore
said, “an
opportunity for our customers to bypass expensive cellular
data traffic and connect to SpeedConnect’s 4G network
using the Wi-Fi feature of their smartphones.”
Moore
said SpeedConnect’s 4G deployment last year has
been a resounding success as Thumb customers are recognizing
the value
of a faster and more reliable wireless Internet connection
capable of supporting video streaming and other web entertainment
services.
SpeedConnect will bundle
the 4G Mobile Hotspot with its existing service plans or offer
it as a stand-alone
service.
